The metaHackathon is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together a diverse group of individuals to address key issues in team building, inclusiveness, and the development of effective projects within the hackathon community. Our focus is on web3 technology and general software problem solving for team building and hackathon pain points.

The metaHackathon is an opportunity for participants to come together and collaborate on solutions to the common challenges faced by hackathon organizers and participants. The theme of the event is centered around solving the team building step of the hackathon process, specifically through the use of software. The event will be held online, providing a unique and convenient opportunity for participants to connect and collaborate.

Our goal is to provide a valuable experience for developers, coders, designers, product managers, and sponsors. We have secured several notable speakers and sponsors, such as InfinityKeys, the Hackathon Survival Guide, and Scaffold-eth, as well as a workshop by Protocol Lab's Community Engineer, The Discordian, on judging.

To provide an even more engaging and inclusive experience, we will also be offering a variety of workshops and resources, including a "Teach Anything" event, a list of inspiration projects from recent hackathons, as well as a study group signup sheet. We believe that by providing this breadth of resources and opportunities, we will be able to foster a truly collaborative and innovative environment.

The metaHackathon is limited to 50 participants, with the goal of providing individualized attention and the ability to connect people and tech sponsors. The prize pool for the event is targeted at 3-5k USD for winners and participants.

We are seeking sponsorship to assist with judging and to provide a prize pool for participants who meet the sponsor's requirements. In return, sponsors will have their logo on the poster, landing page, and will be recognized during the opening and closing ceremonies. Additionally, sponsors will be provided with a short statement about why they sponsor hackathons.

As a truly unique event, with no previous metaHackathons, we are open to discussing additional sponsorship opportunities. We also welcome support from those with experience organizing hackathons as advisors, or to claim a virtual metaHackathon booth which are reserved for hackathons and someone who can represent and answer any questions about their specific hackathon to our attendees.

In summary, the metaHackathon is a unique event that addresses key issues in team building, inclusiveness, and effective projects that people keep working on within the hackathon community. With a focus on web3 technology and general software problem solving for team building and hackathon pain points, this event is an opportunity for participants to come together and collaborate on solutions to the common challenges faced by hackathon organizers and participants.
